Still Snow But…

Snow is still painting the landscapes with its fluffy white brush, but conditions seem to change now. Today is the second day in a row with temperatures above freezing point, and the forecast has more on the menu. With 4 scheduled days the coming week with temperatures above freezing point we have a decenct chance for more iceboating.

What we need for iceboating is something like 3-5 days with plus degress and a bit of rain, that really should move the packed snow on the ice. The perfect scenario would then include temperatures below freezing after those days, as we then would get perfect conditions and a refined black ice, now that would be perfect. I reallly do hope that this scenario will come true cause I need the feeling of excessive speeds on the ice again, it’s highly addictive and a most impressive feeling.
